Urban Artifacts - BronzClay Rings

A challenging class designed to stretch your skills as well as your imagination. Produce beautiful rings in true bronze. The finish ranges from rainbow patinas to dark brownish greens, reminiscent of ancient relics to the rich gold colors that evoke gold jewelry from another age.

1-package of BRONZclay

Bring all of your favorite metal clay tools. The same tools that work well for silver metal clay will work for BRONZclay. Care must be taken to keep the tools and working surface clean between using silver or BRONZclay.

RECOMMENDED TOOLS
Rolling tool with graduated rings*, or graduated slats*, or playing cards
Cutting tool: X-acto knife, needle tool, tissue blade
Non-stick surface (silicon sheet*, page protector, cutting mat)
Agate burnishing tool* (or metal burnishing tool)
Rubber Block*
Stainless steel or Brass Brush*
Wooden Ring Mandrel with stand
Sanding papers* or Sanding sponges*, or emery boards* from coarse to fine
SUGGEST USING DEDICATED SANDING SPONGES, ETC. FOR EACH TYPE OF CLAY.
Small round brush (inexpensive)
Clay shaper
Texturing materials, i.e. rubber-stamps, texture plates, lace, etc. anything that you like that will make a mark on the clay.
Cubic Zirconias* (optional)
